• Lim Hak Tai Gallery, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
Inspired by a family photograph taken in 1955, Thread Between the Lines is an installation that tells the story of three generations living under one roof. The narrative centres on the women in the artist's family, particularly from her mother's perspective. Drawing from stories shared by the artist's mother and siblings, the work weaves together personal childhood memories of the house. The piece is grounded in research and includes genealogical record tracing the family lineage back to the late Qin and early Han periods.
